"MPBIS/MBPIG Ch ValbyDane Brazen Hussy" (aka Brazen)
(BISS Am Can PR Ch Larlyn's Young Lad Dakota Blue x
Intl Cnd Ch ValbyDanes Sweeping A Nation)
(Pedigree)
Calgary Kennel & Obedience Club
November 2005
Brazen has definitely lived up to her name as she had not difficulty in being very 'brazen' on her first show weekend. At 6 months and 3 days, Brazen strutted into the ring and never looked back. Respected International Judge, Mr. Luiz Silva of Brazil saw this young girls promise and awarded her Best of Breed (for a 5 point major), over 16 other Danes, including multiple Breed and Group placing Specials.
She then continued on to make the cut at the group level and sashayed out of the ring with a Best Puppy in Group. Day 2, under respected Judge Roger Hartinger, Brazen took Best of Winners and Best Puppy in Breed which
provided her with a 4 point win. Currently Brazen sits on 9 points towards her Canadian Championship.

Alberta Kennel Club
February 2005
When not relaxing on the back of the couch at the Kueber residence, Brazen is in the show ring 'strutting her stuff'. She and her team mate Marni obtained the last point that was required to make her a "New Champion". Although Marni made it look all to easy, Brazen was being very much a puppy this particular show and confirming just how brazen she can be!

Edmonton Kennel Club
September 2005
Although this young girl is following in the paw prints of her older brother, BISs BPISS MBPIS Ch Valbydane Continuing the Quest (Rave), brazen is proving herself vary capable of holding her own in the show ring and carving out her own niche. I would like to thank respected Judges Carol Graham (Best Puppy in Group) and Michael Shoreman f( Group 4 and Best Puppy in Group) for seeing this young girl's potential by adding to her list of laurels.
|
Fort St John Kennel Club
May 2005
Brazen made her début as a Special at the Fort St. John Kennel Club show held in May 05 at Taylor, BC. It was a show that provided her with the opportunity to display her potential as an upcoming Special. She was definitely a Dane that made an impression on the Judges, exhibitors and spectators alike.
Brazen had the stamina to do two shows a day over a three day period by achieving:
Multiple Group placings, including Group 1 which allowed her to play at the BIS level
4 Best Puppy In Groups
3 Best Puppy In Shows under respected Judges Charles Bett, Letitia Bett & Doreen Marsh
Brazen was shown sparingly during 2005 and placed in Group at each show she attended
2006 will see Brazen frequently back in the ring but not being
Specialled until she matures a bit more.

When not at the shows...................

"ValbyDane Wicked & Undeniable" (aka
Tonka)
(BISS Am Can PR Ch Larlyn's Young Lad Dakota Blue x
Intl Cnd Ch ValbyDanes Sweeping A Nation)
(Pedigree)
This young mad decided that he would be the performer for his first show weekend out and definitely provided the entertainment for the exhibitors. If there had of been a ribbon for the "Best Comic Relief" I am sure Tonaks would have won this award for the weekend. Than you to respected Judge Sue-Ellyne Rempel for looking past the puppy behaviour and recognizing this your Danes potential.
|
Tonka was shown sparingly and was just over a year when he obtained his Championship, much to the relieve of his owner Margaret who was beginning to despair of him ever settling down enough. Settle down he did but always laying beneath was that puppy spark just waiting to ignite if given the opportunity.
Thank you to respected Judge Don Emslie on looking past the puppy ness and saw the potential of this young man.
Tonka is enjoying the retired life from the shows and being a great companion and having fun playing with his German Shorthair friend and doggy roomy.
Wrapped around Tonka's paw is his loving owner Margaret Hurcelson of Fort McMurray, Alberta.
Tonka is professionally presented by his breeder Peggy Mignon, and occasionally by Marni Kueber.

"Ch ValbyDane To Hot To Handle"
(aka Diesel)
(BISS Am Can PR Ch Larlyn's Young Lad Dakota Blue x
Intl Cnd Ch ValbyDanes Sweeping A Nation)
(Pedigree)
What a show weekend for this young boy! Not only did he start out in grand style, but he finished in it as well. His first time out in the Show Ring and he takes Best of Winners, Best of Breed, Best Puppy in Breed and a Group 4th. Thank you Merlin Vanderkinder for Diesel's Best of Breed and Group 4th placement at such a young age!
Unfortunately Diesel decided, in the Puppy Group ring, he was going to show us all the he definitely was a puppy and therefore the Puppy Group was awarded to a verly lovely and deserving Boxer puppy.......oh well, perhaps another time and show might see him with a Puppy Group.
For the rest of the weekend, Diesel Took Winners Dog/Best of Winners/Best Puppy in Breed to complete his championship. Nothing like following in his uncle Rogue's pawprints (BISS ValbyDanes Metis Uprising) who completed his championship in one show weekend as well.
|
Another time, another show and Diesel won his Best Puppy in Group at the Saamis Kennel Club show in Medicine Hat!.
He was just full of himself at this show and made many new friends with his outstanding and outgoing personality. He had no qualms about going to visit people and just having a great time overall.
Many thanks to respected Judge Phyllis Wolfish for Diesel's puppy group win.
Diesel lovingly owns Steven, Christa and Brooke Arseneault Family, Calgary, Alberta
Diesel is professionally presented by his breeder and handler Peggy Mignon, who also loves him! |
